Placement in Facebook!!

Facebook has agreed the proposal of having a recruitment process for the students of Kirori Mal college.Interested students need to send their resumes on placements.kmc@gmail.com on april 8,2011 by 7:00 pm.Any registration after 7.00 pm will not be considered.

Analyst, Online Operations (Hyderabad)

The Online Operations teams in facebook’s new Hyderabad, India office include Platform Operations, User Operations and Online Sales. Platform Operations supports the developer community, enforces policies of facebook and ensures an excellent user experience. User Operations is responsible for maintaining user safety, engagement, site understanding and identifying patterns of user behavior. Online Sales provides support to online advertisers and pre and post sales support for all ad products.
Besides reacting to existing incidents, facebook also likes to play offense. It uses its knowledge and insight to analyze future product launches and identify scalable solutions that help support its users, advertisers, and developers. Successful candidates for this job enjoy solving puzzles, making quick decisions, working collaboratively and love Facebook. Potential Responsibilities
Support users, developers, and advertisers through problem-solving and front line written communication;
Review accounts, ads, and transactions to detect trends and summarize key findings;
Optimize Facebook's revenue channels through collaboration with the various Online Operations teams;
Enforce Facebook’s Terms of Use by carefully monitoring reports of abuse on the site and implement enforcement actions;
Respond to developer inquiries, review applications, and investigate issues;
Gather and synthesize relevant data, suggesting improvements in the tools and techniques to help scale the team;
Manage, coordinate, and/or support cross-functional projects as needed;
Train and mentor new members of the team;
Discuss policy and product with developers and contribute to Facebook's decisions on changes

Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
